Palpa also known as Tansen is the most popular summer resort
in western Nepal on account of its position and climate. It
is located midway on the Siddhartha highway in between Pokhara
and Butwal. Located at the altitude of 1310 meters at the
lap of the spectacular Srinagar Danda (hill), Tansen offers
a gorgeous panorama of the Himalayan as well as the plains
of Terai. Tansen is a pleasant place to visit during any season
of the year.
